Privacy policy

What we collect

• Quiz answers and email. When you take our relocation quiz, we collect your answers and the email you enter to see results. Answers can include your age range, family size, military status, income range, and budget.
• Booking details. When you book a call, our scheduling provider collects your name, email, and anything you add to the booking form.
• Messages. Anything you send us by email, Zalo, or WhatsApp.
• Client documents. If you hire us, the documents you share so we can help with visas, housing, schools, and banking.
• Site usage. Pages visited, buttons clicked, device type, and approximate location, collected with cookies and similar tools.

How we use it

To show your quiz results, prepare for your call, deliver the services you buy, send emails you signed up for, and understand which parts of the site help families. We do not sell your information.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that run the site and our business:

• Kit, for our email list
• Formspree, which delivers quiz results to us
• Calendly, for booking calls
• Google Analytics and Meta, to measure site visits and ads
• YouTube, when you play an embedded video

If you hire us, we share only what's needed with the landlords, schools, banks, or professionals you ask us to introduce you to. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Cookies and tracking

We use analytics and advertising cookies to count visits and see which pages lead to bookings. You can block cookies in your browser, opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, and manage Meta ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.

Emails

Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing does not affect messages about services you have booked.

How long we keep it

Quiz and email list data stays until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Client records are kept for as long as we need them for the work and for tax and legal requirements.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. Email Contactus@builtbeyondborders.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

Children

Our site is for adults planning a move. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. Details about your children that you share with us, such as ages and school needs, are used only to plan your move.

Security

We use reputable providers and limit who can see client documents. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't email passport or bank numbers unless we ask for them through a secure method.

Terms of service

What we are, and what we aren't

We are relocation consultants. We share research, experience, and local help. We are not lawyers, tax advisors, immigration agents, or financial advisors, and nothing we say or publish is legal, tax, immigration, or benefits advice. Visa, tax, and benefit rules change; confirm decisions with the relevant government office or a licensed professional.

Payments

• The Relocation Roadmap Guide, Discovery Call, and Plan are paid in full at booking.
• Land, Live, and Beyond Arrival require a 50% non-refundable deposit to hold your dates. The balance is due 14 days before your arrival.
• Beyond Arrival Ongoing is billed monthly with a 3-month minimum.
• Prices are fixed for the scope confirmed in writing before you pay. Anything outside that scope is quoted separately first.

Credits

• The $75 Discovery Call fee is credited toward your next purchase, excluding the $49 guide. One credit per client.
• The $297 Plan fee is credited in full toward Land or Live if you upgrade within 60 days of your Plan session.
• Referral reward: when a family you refer books a package, you get 10% off your next service with us. It can't be combined with other discounts on the same service.
• Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred.

Rescheduling and cancellations

• Each call includes one free reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice. Missed calls without notice are not refunded.
• Deposits for in-person services are non-refundable. If you cancel after paying in full, the balance above the deposit is refunded if you cancel at least 14 days before arrival.
• If we have to cancel, you get a full refund of anything paid for services not delivered.
• The Relocation Roadmap Guide is a digital product and is non-refundable once delivered.

Clarity guarantee

If you finish your Plan session without a clear go or no-go on your destination, we add a free follow-up session, to be used within 14 days. The guarantee is an extra session, not a refund.

Third parties

We introduce you to landlords, agents, schools, banks, doctors, lawyers, and other providers we trust. You contract with them directly, and we are not responsible for their services, prices, or decisions. We don't take referral fees without telling you.

Your part

Our help depends on accurate information from you. You're responsible for your own visa applications, contracts, travel, and decisions, and for meeting the legal requirements of the countries you move to.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for that service. We are not liable for indirect losses such as visa refusals, travel costs, or lost income.

Site content

Guides, maps, quiz results, and cost figures are general information based on our experience and may be out of date. Quiz results are an estimate, not a recommendation. You may share links to our content, but not copy or resell it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, where Beyond Borders Traveling Co., Ltd. is registered. We'll always try to resolve problems directly first, so please email us.

Changes

We may update this page. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. Services you have already booked stay under the terms in place when you paid.
